BUY a Teddy Bear or Stuffed Animal from the Hospital Collection

Alfred deBear stands 10 inches tall and is a 5-way jointed teddy bear. I think he was born in Germany around 1980. He is squeezably, cotton-filled and has the red, lowercase “r” embroidered marking on his inside left forearm. All his parts are original and his short mohair is in excellent condition. ($180)

Almeda deBear lived most of her 66 years in Massachusetts. She is originally from England and the Merry Thought Company. She is all-original, with slight wear to her nose and label and has glass eyes.

She stands a whopping 10 inches tall and is 5-way jointed. She is firmly filled with soft cotton and is light to hold. Almeda exudes much charm, charisma and has a diva-in-waiting-like attitude. She is in near fine condition.  ($255)

Monty deBear is 12 inches tall and is a 5 - way jointed teddy bear. He has pink felt paws and black shoe button eyes, is from France and was born 1930 – 40.

His nose & mouth are all-original and his growler is, sadly, silent. Monty is filled with excelsior and gloriously florescent yellow in the sunshine. He is in fine condition. ($260)

Chauncy deBear is a 55 year-old Gund. He is all original with googley eyes and canvas paw pads and an army green jumper. He refuses to wear his woolen scarf during the summertime.

His jumper has some slight sun fade discoloration and his manufacturer’s tag is partially missing. Chauncy is 24 inches tall and is weighted heavy with packed cotton. He is unjointed and in very good condition. ($200)

This is Nicodemus, a gorilla doll popular in the 1940’s / USA. His body is made of rubber and he is all-original and in fine condition. He stands 16 inches tall.  ($85)

This Steiff owl is a hand puppet and made in Germany circa 1950’s. He still has a part of his original paper label on his chest. He is a full 9 inches long, his beak is made of. His eyes are particularly haunting. In fine condition. ($125)

This is a second Steiff owl hand puppet. He is a generation younger (1960’s) with features such as a rubber nose and green eyelashes. In fine condition. ($100)

Ada the Steiff squirrel was made in Germany circa 1930’s. She holds no nut, stands 6 inches tall and is in very good condition. ($105)

Leo the 11 inch Steiff lion is  from 1960’s Germany. He has all of his original features and has slight damage to his silken pink nose. He is in good condition. ($80)

This 17 inch Boyd teddy bear dates from 1980 - 90 and is a 5-way bear. His plush, paw pads and joints are in fine condition. ($95)

Brian deBear is a large 27 inch tall, light blond mohair teddy bear. He is 5-way jointed and probably French from around 1945 - 50. His cotton filling makes him soft to the touch. Brian has slight condition problems in his feet and his growler is not operational. Otherwise, he is in very good condition. ($215)

This teddy bear is a hand puppet made in France circa 1955. She could really be a koala bear. She is 11 inches tall and is soft & lovely to the touch. In fine condition. ($90)

Caniche the dog was made in France, circa 1930 - 35. She has glass eyes and all original parts. She is mounted on 4 metal wheels & base and pulls perfectly. She stands 15 inches tall and is in very good condition. ($325)

Minty deBear is one of Mrs. Byler’s handmade teddy bears (the PA Amish do not add facial features). These unique, un-jointed creations are 20 inches tall and were made in 1990 from vintage quilts. In fine condition. ($125)

Bertrand deBear is an un-jointed bear from France @ 1955. He sits well at 14 inches and is filled with sawdust. His plush is silky smooth yet a partially missing eye keeps him as fair condition. ($145)
